Booking & Check-in
Information about bookings, payments and check-in.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check in is available anytime after 1 pm.
If you are arriving early you are most welcome to call us and ask whether we have your apartment or residence available for early check in.
Do you require a security bond upon check-in?
We require a $200 deposit to confirm your booking with us at Ruthmor Villas.
On check in the remainder of the stay is due. If you are checking in for long periods, then we’ll negotiate with you for advance payments fortnightly or monthly.
Is after hours check-in available?
Yes, we’ll make sure that someone is onsite to greet you or negotiate where pick up of keys can take place.
Can I have a late check-out?
Check out time is normally 10:00am, but if you need to check out late you are quite welcome to ask and if possible we will try to accomodate your request.
When do I have to pay a deposit?
A $200 deposit is drawn on your credit card to secure the booking, unless we negotiate other terms.
What are the reception hours?
We’re usually open from 7 am until 9 pm. If you’re coming late, please call us and let us know.
What happens if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel your accommodation at Ruthmor Villas, we require a week’s notice. All you’ll be charged is a small 5% fee on the deposit to cover costs.
If you wish to cancel your accommodation within the week prior to check in, then the deposit will be lost.
For longer term bookings, we require a week’s accommodation in advance.
If you are suddenly placed into lockdown due to COVID 19, then we will only charge the 5% off the deposit.

Is there Internet or WiFi access available?
Yes, we have wireless Internet available.
What facilities do you have?
We’re a small complex in close proximity to restaurants and shops. Your unit is self contained so you’ll be able to cook in your own kitchen and sit down at your own dining suite.
We have all channels FOXTEL has to offer and you’ll have access to wireless internet.
One of the city’s BUS STOPS is right outside the complex, so that you have bus access to most of the city.
ON-SITE PARKING is free and our 2 bedroom apartments have a garage.
RESTAURANTS such as the City Golf Club, Fire and Ice and the Garden Restaurant are close by.
Is there car parking available?
Yes parking onsite is available either near your unit or undercover.
Is all linen provided?
All linen is supplied. Ruthmor Villas prides itself on it’s choice of linen.
How often are the rooms serviced?
Apartments are serviced once a week.

General information about our location.
How close is Toowoomba CBD?
Not far, less than 5 minutes drive.
Are there shops or restaurants nearby?
Yes we are close to the City Golf Club, which has a variety of food.
The Southern Hotel is about 2 mins drive and has it’s great restaurant Fire and Ice or try out one of the many take aways, such as Guzman Y Gomez.
Coles and Woolworths are just 3 mins south of us.
Is there public transport nearby?
The bus stop is just outside of the complex and there are online timetables for Toowoomba’s Bus Services.
What local attractions are in the area?
Japanese Gardens are just 8 mins drive from us and are beautiful for an afternoon stroll.
Try relaxing in either Laurel Bank Park or Queens Park both just 6 mins drive from Ruthmor Villas
Toowoomba’s Cobb & Co Museum or it’s Military museum, both 8 mins away and worth spending a few hours in learning about our local history.
Where can I buy groceries locally?
Drive down the road to our K Mart Plaza, where you’ll find a Coles and various other shops or turn left off Ruthven Street into Stenner Street and you’ll find Aldi. Turn left onto Hume and you’ll find the Ridge Shopping Complex.
