Toowoomba, the Garden City and home of the iconic Carnival of Flowers held in September of each year to celebrate our beautiful city and the onset of Springis the second biggest rural city in Australia.  Toowoomba is fast developing into a small cosmopolitan city with boutique shops, bars and great restaurants.  As a visitor to our lovely city you’ll experience beautiful heritage style buildings mingled with contemporary architecture, like the new Toowoomba Library.  Toowoomba has boutique art museums and it’sparks are the envy of many.  Queens Park, a short stroll from the CBD is a 26.3 hectare green belt, which features many grand trees that shade its beautiful pathways. Come for a stroll!

The Japanese Gardens (Ju Raku En) are peaceful and beautiful Japanese inspired gardens with a waterfall, lake and meandering pathways to wander along and escape from the hustle and bustle.

Visit our famous Cobb & Co Museum home to the National Carriage Collection.  It boasts one of the finest collections of horse drawn carriages.  Cobb & Co offers hands on experience in its interactive gallery and excellent workshops in blacksmithing, silversmithing, leadlighting, leatherwork, stonemasonry and copperfoiling.
